Healthcare coverage

TEFRA

A Medicaid eligibility pathway for children with significant disabilities who need an institutional level of care but can safely receive care at home.

Other SoonerCare pathways are considered first. If those do not apply, the child’s income and resources—not the family’s—are considered for TEFRA.
